SME Server support
Gormand Pty Ltd is central to the development of the SME Server. Our
Technical Director, Gordon Rowell, has led every release of the SME Server
since e-smith 4. We developed many components of SME Server Release 7,

Our support is provided on a simple per server, per year basis. We do
not have set limits on support requests, but reserve the right to apply
a "reasonable use" limitation. We focus on supporting you as
a reseller so that you can provide the best possible support to your
customers.
We do not normally provide front-line customer support. Instead, we
provide escalation support backed by our deep technical knowledge of
the SME Server and Linux.
As a reseller, we expect you to:
- choose, install and maintain compatible hardware and Internet connectivity
- undertake the installation and management of your SME Servers
- deal with desktop support and network configuration issues
- handle issues related to third-party software installed on the servers
- be comfortable with reading log files
- be comfortable with using the Linux command line, although experience with
Linux is not required
